Originating from the Netherlands, Néomí elegantly blends her roots in folk with elements of electro-pop, creating a sound that feels both delicate and deeply resonant. I first encountered her last month while she was supporting Amber Run live, and it quickly became clear that her music would leave a lasting impression — a prediction that proved accurate.

Her charismatic and engaging stage presence, paired with heartfelt lyricism and beautifully soft vocals, made an immediate impact. In the weeks since, Néomí’s music has rarely been off rotation for me.

Catch You Sits in the Fragile Space Between Sorrow and Acceptance

Written during one of the lowest points in her life, Néomí turned to the piano to process her heartbreak, creating a track that holds a sense of emotional weight, alongside a gentle softness that everything unfolds for a reason.

“‘Catch You’ might be the most hopeful track in my catalogue. This song is a message to someone dear; that it’s alright to feel and make your own decisions. I hope it shows the vulnerability of love.”

– Néomí

The track catches you from the outset, led by piano and Néomí’s softly delivered vocals, while the addition of subtle strings deepens its sentiment and quiet strength. Recorded with only Néomí and her producer in the room, there’s an audible stillness to the song, creating an intimate and emotive soundscape.

The chorus — “The sun will shine again, baby, you should trust me on it, trust me on it, trust me. And if you really feel like running, babe, you should go for it, go for it, go for it.  — carries a kindness, offering a message of comfort and reassurance to its listener.

Over the past month, I’ve been working my way through Néomí’s discography — and discovering her in Paris feels like a moment of true serendipity. It’s safe to say she’s an artist I’ll be following with anticipation for what comes next.

You can catch Néomí on her 2026 EU tour this fall
