Previously featured artist, Harry Hudson-Taylor aka Lady Bird Lad recently released his emotive debut EP titled More Than Enough
After more than a year of thorough crafting, Lady Bird Lad’s launching EP finally hit the airwaves on Friday, March 1st, evoking a whirlwind of emotions with each engaging track. While dedicated fans of Hudson Taylor have been anticipating the end of the band for several months, the recent official farewell marks a poignant moment for Harry as he embarks on the next chapter of his musical journey. With the release of his debut EP, More Than Enough, under the name of Lady Bird Lad, Harry Hudson-Taylor invites listeners to join him on a meaningful adventure full of soulful melodies and heartfelt lyrics.
Kicking off the EP is its title track and my personal favourite, More Than Enough, which delivers a powerful message of love and acceptance through its sincere lyrics and captivating melody. Next up is I’m Losing You, a track that has already garnered praise (see review via link), followed by the third single release, Healing. This track beautifully shares the profound journey of healing, echoing the EP’s overarching message of growth.
Track four of the EP is the enchanting acoustic piece, Pamela, nestled within the five-track collection. Once again, it gracefully imparts a message of inner healing with earnest emotion and significance. Closing out the EP is Goodluck Farewell Goodbye, originally written in 2016 with potential for a Hudson Taylor release. This track serves as a fitting and breathtaking conclusion, encapsulating the essence and journey of the EP as a whole. With themes of love, acceptance, healing, and farewells, the EP represents a touching exploration of life’s transitions and the resilience found within.
