SINGLE: HANDS TOGETHER – KISSING THIEVES

Stefanie Fields is a singer-songwriter from North America, who up until recently stowed away her music out of fear, comparisons and imposter-syndrome. Thankfully for us Fields grew restless of carrying her songs around inside and since came to the conclusion of “fuck it”,  leading her to bravely share her talent with us all. Kissing Thieves is the outcome of a heck of a lot of courage, in hand with a mass amount of faith and with a strong influence from timeless classics such as Fleetwood Mac and Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers, to name but a few, Kissing Thieves sets loose a reminiscent passion of authenticity. Something which is proven so in their latest single; Hands Together, freshly birthed into the world last week (March 8th).

“I only want to put out music that’s worthy of being listened to. I don’t write pouty love songs. That’s just not where I’m at.”

Stefanie Fields

Hands Together is a significantly sincere single release. Reflecting on Field’s own encounters with a sense of hopelessness, the track was written in a time of pure despair for the musician and bares a confession of lost religion and unanswered prayers. With a melody of misery melded with an earnest vulnerability behind the lyrics and softly-sang vocals, Hands Together evokes a melancholic mood that spell-bindingly tethers itself straight to the heart.
