Today we shine the spotlight on Rivabyrds, an incredibly talented band hailing from the vibrant city of Birmingham.
This musical group consists of Tom Ivory, who mesmerises us with his soulful lead vocals and guitar mastery, Sam Stokes, the virtuoso on lead guitar and captivating harmonies, Josh Cartwright, the rhythmic anchor on bass with a voice that enchants, and Nacho Fiorentino, the powerhouse behind the drum kit, driving their infectious beats.
With a shared musical history, Ivory and Stoke’s previous collaborations laid the foundation for the formation of Rivabyrds. Their shared chemistry and creative synergy inspired them to bring their collective vision to life, culminating in the addition of Fiorentino, who completes the band’s dynamic lineup.
Earlier this year, Rivabyrds released their debut single, Boys Laws. This electrifying track showcased their undeniable talent and served as a captivating introduction to the groups’ sound.
Now, as their follow-up track, Grace, has joyfully graced our ears. Bursting with infectious melodies and endearing lyrics, this enchanting composition showcases the band’s growth and versatility, capturing the essence of Rivabyrds‘ musical essence.
The journey doesn’t end there. Rivabyrds‘ unwavering dedication to their craft drives them back to the studio this summer, where they will embark on recording their much-anticipated third single. As well as, playing hometown gigs over the next couple of months. Their biggest being at The Victoria.
