Hannah Grace, the Welsh singer-songwriter previously featured on Kaleidoscopic Melodics, returns this month with her upcoming album Bigger Picture. Her latest single, Why Can’t I Cry About It, is an astoundingly beautiful release that reunites her with fellow musician and close friend, Gabrielle Aplin.
Why Can’t I Cry About It is an emotive track with thoughtfully crafted lyrics that send shivers down your spine and stir a deep sense of empathy. Hannah and Gabrielle’s voices harmonise effortlessly, carrying an angelic quality that plays throughout.
For me, it’s the bridge leading into the chorus drop that truly unleashes the most intense wave of emotion, making the hairs on my arms stand on end. Despite its title, the song moved me to tears – a stunning piece in every sense.
